Wie kann man die Gzip- oder Deflate-Komprimierung über .htaccess aktivieren und welches ist heutzutage das Beste? Codebeispiele benötigt.

HTML5 Boilerplate ( http://html5boilerplate.com ) bietet die beste und effektivste Lösung, zusammen mit vielen anderen wie Caching, Mime-Typen usw. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Siehe die Dokumentation zu Apache mod_deflate , insbesondere das Beispiel " Alles außer Images komprimieren ". Es hat bei mir gut funktioniert und würde .htaccesswie folgt in eine Datei geschrieben:

Ich habe die Deflationierung für statische Assets auf meiner Site (nach MIME-Typ) mithilfe der folgenden Elemente aktiviert, die der .htaccessDatei im Stammverzeichnis meines public_htmlVerzeichnisses hinzugefügt wurden :

Sie können es auch über die Dateierweiterung aktivieren, obwohl ich die Syntax dafür nicht zur Hand habe.
