Nach dem letzten Update? Ubuntu 18.10 erreichte EOL am 18. Juli 2019 ( fridge.ubuntu.com/2019/07/19/… ) und ist daher hier ohne Thema, es sei denn, Ihre Frage bezieht sich speziell auf die Umstellung auf eine unterstützte Version von Ubuntu. Ihre Paste bezieht sich jedoch auf bionisch? oder 18.04 (18.10 ist kosmisch), also stimmt etwas nicht, aber 18.10 ist hier aufgrund von EOL nicht zum Thema geworden.

@guiverc Ich habe das gleiche Problem mit Ubuntu 18.04, bei dem es sich um LTS handelt. Daher scheint dieses Problem nicht exklusiv für Ubuntu 18.10 zu sein. Die in der Antwort von Aaron beschriebene vorübergehende Problemumgehung hat das Problem jedoch behoben.

Gemäß dem Launchpad-Bug 1843507 funktionierte der Kommentar Nr. 4 zumindest vorübergehend für mich.

Update: Ondřej hat bereits ein Update für seinen PHP Build veröffentlicht. Sie können libidn2-0 downgraden, damit apt wieder funktioniert:

$ wget http://mirrors.kernel.org/ubuntu/pool/main/libi/libidn2/libidn2-0_2.0.4-1.1build2_amd64.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i libidn2-0_2.0.4-1.1build2_amd64.deb

Dann:

$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt upgrade

Und Sie sollten gut zu gehen sein.

Habe das gemacht und startxeinmal gearbeitet. Dann, nach dem Neustart, kann ich kein Ereignis zum Terminal gelangen. Sic. Es ist Zeit, wieder Hallo zu Windows zu sagen. Solche Fehler sind inakzeptabel.

Ich habe dies getan und jetzt scheint es zu funktionieren, aber ich muss den Server nicht neu starten? Soweit ich weiß, ist es vorübergehend, wenn ich neu starte, der Netzwerkmanager nicht startet und ich vollständig von meinem Server ausgeschlossen bin. Können Sie das bestätigen? Was soll ich jetzt machen? Muss ich in den kommenden Tagen updaten oder nicht? Wie kann ich nach Behebung des Problems den Server aktualisieren und neu starten?

@gronostaj Und Windows scheitert nie? Ausfallzeiten sind wirklich unvermeidlich. Zumindest unter Linux können Sie Updates deaktivieren, wenn Stabilität Priorität hat.

Laden Sie dieses libidn2-0_2.0.5-1_amd64.deb-Paket aus dem Debian-Repository auf den Computer herunter und führen Sie es aus , um es anstelle des fehlerhaften Ubuntu-Pakets zu installieren.sudo dpkg -i /path/to/.deb

Jeder, der Probleme mit Ubuntu 18.04 findet, sollte dieses Paket installieren. Das funktioniert.

Das hat es für mich behoben. Warum ist ein Downgrade dieses Pakets ein Fix?

Auf meinem Computer ist das gleiche Problem aufgetreten. Ich konnte über ein Ethernet-Kabel eine Verbindung zum Internet herstellen und das Paket herunterladen, das @ Mason Pawsey in seiner Antwort erwähnt hatte.

Ich war nicht mit der Vorgehensweise vertraut und fand in diesem Beitrag von @ chili555 Hilfe .

Ich konnte das Paket downgraden und wie gewohnt hochfahren. Es gab jedoch noch einen Eintrag in meiner /etc/network/interfacesDatei für eth0, und dies würde mich daran hindern, eine Verbindung über WLAN herzustellen. Also ging ich in die Datei und kommentierte alles unter auto eth0( falls ich es später brauchte ).

Nachdem ich den Eintrag entfernt und meinen Computer neu gestartet hatte, war alles in Ordnung.

Ich hoffe, das hilft jedem, der in Zukunft auf diese Seite kommt.
