Zum Beispiel wurde Xubuntu 11.10 am 13. Oktober 2011 veröffentlicht, ebenso wie Kubuntu und normales Ubuntu.
10.04 Am selben Tag (29. April 2010) wurden auch Kubuntu, Xubuntu und Ubuntu veröffentlicht.
Ab sofort werden offizielle Derivate am selben Tag wie "normales" Ubuntu 12.04 veröffentlicht.
